Use alpha-channel and opacity information when rendering layers.
Map Photoshop transparency to Director pure white, and Photoshop pure white to Director off-white.
Register the imported castmembers to reproduce their Photoshop positions.
Merge sets of linked layers from the Photoshop file into single castmembers.
Create cast members from hidden layers in the Photoshop file.
Anti-alias to both hidden and invisible layers.
Import castmembers as 24 bit graphics.
Create a ‘super palette’ from the individual layers and apply it to the imported cast members.
Map castmembers to the currently active palette or color depth.
Flatten all layers to import the Photoshop file as a single castmember.
Import each layer as its own castmember.
Restore settings to factory recommended defaults.
Save these settings as the default PhotoCaster settings.
Checking this box will allow you to choose specific layers to import after you choose a file and click Open.
If you are indexing to a super palette, use this box to indicate the number of colors the new palette should have (max 256 including black & white).
